Founded in 1917 the Temple Lions Club is a Founder Club of Lions International. Our club is now in our 93rd year of existence.
Our membership is over 100 strong and our membership consists of talented and responsible citizens of the surrounding Temple area.
Our club supports and participates in all the goals of our Lions District 2-X3. Locally our club supports the newest water park in Temple, Lions Junction. Through Lions Park and now Lions Junction our club has partnered with the city of Temple in providing recreation to the citizens of the Temple area for many years.
Our club also has our annual follies show each year. This year’s show will be our 71st annual show. Our show uses the many talents our membership has to offer. Our proceeds go back into our community to help support our many causes.
We also host our annual Lasagna Supper (usually at the first home Temple Wildcat football game) and a gold tournament (spring) each year.
Our club supports vision locally and around the world. We also support diabetic awareness.
We meet every Wednesday noon at our Lions Den located at the Gober Party House (a city owned park facility) at 1516 West Avenue H. We have a catered meal each week along with an interesting and informative program.
We hope that you will visit us whether you are a Lion or wanting to know more about Lionism.
